ACCESSIBILITY
Stories should be available to every family.
Last updated July 22, 2026. Speedboat Design LLC is working to make the A Grand Story website and app usable by people with disabilities.
Our target
For the public website, our engineering target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. For the iOS app, we design for VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, sufficient contrast, reduced motion, clear labels, and keyboard or switch access where supported.
Current work
We use automated testing and manual review, but we do not claim that every page or app flow is fully conformant. Current work includes contrast checks, keyboard navigation, screen-reader testing, zoom and reflow testing, motion preferences, form instructions and errors, and testing the voice invitation recorder.
Need help or found a barrier?
Email hello@agrandstory.com. Please include the page or app screen, what you were trying to do, the device/browser or assistive technology used, and the format or accommodation that would help. We will try to provide the information or service through an accessible alternative while we investigate.
Feedback
Accessibility is an ongoing process. Reports from families and storytellers are welcome, and we prioritize barriers that block account access, consent, purchase information, recording, playback, privacy controls, or support.
